Loch Cruises for Children and Families
Children of all ages will enjoy watching the Jacobite steam train made famous by the Harry Potter films cross the viaduct at Glenfinnan. Children on all of our cruises can enjoy the on board scavenger hunt and win a prize if they find all of the clues.
We will also show them where Hogwarts was in several of the films and warn them of the possibility of Grindylows as Loch Shiel was also used as the "Black Lake" in several of the franchise's films.
Wildlife Adventures for Kids and Adults
As parents ourselves we are enthusiatic in getting kids involved with spotting the wildlife and understanding the boat. Kids and adults can use the binoculars on board to see the wildlife and the guide will make sure everyone gets a chance to see any eagles soaring or deer roaming. There are refreshments for sale on board if anyone gets thirsty or hungry and Captain Aly is always good at keeping things fun. There is a toilet on board too.
We don't recommend jumping in but our own kids love a swim from the shore after a cruise. (Please don't jump off the boat!)
