The installation of a new pontoon at Polloch on the shores of Loch Shiel
has opened up a unique opportunity for walkers and cyclists to explore
this stunning area.
The pontoon at Polloch sits at the edge of a well maintained and gently
meandering forestry road which runs 13 miles long between Callop, off
the A830T "Road to the Isles" and the community of Polloch accessed
from Strontian on the A861. Walkers or cyclists can combine a day out
using a pick-up/drop off service offered by Loch Shiel Cruises.
