How to find the M.V. Sileas

Loch Shiel lies in the heart of Lochaber, an ancient region of which the political and touring centre is Fort William.

The area is served by good uncrowded roads; Fort William lies on the A82 Glasgow to Inverness trunk road.

Fort William has direct rail connections to Glasgow and, by Highland Sleeper, to London Euston. There are airports at Glasgow and Inverness, and long-distance bus services to Glasgow and London.

Bus and Train Services run from Fort William, Mallaig and Acharacle (see links page for timetables under "Local Information".

Glenfinnan lies 15 miles west of Fort William on the A830, the Road to the Isles. Buses and train services run to Glenfinnan from both Fort Willam and Mallaig.

To find MV Sileas, follow the signs from the A830 at Glenfinnan to the Glenfinnan House Hotel. Free parking is available at the hotel. The boat is situated 180 metres from the hotel along a gravel pathway (Note: the path may be restrictive to people with mobility difficulties: please contact Loch Shiel Cruises for further information).
