Unique
guided cruises aboard the historic MV Sileas
on the beautiful, sheltered waters of Loch Shiel.

Share the skipper Jim Michie's fifteen years' experience
of spotting Golden Eagles, Red Deer, Black-throated Divers,
plus a wide variety of other wildlife, while learning the
history of this special, remote and unspoiled part of the
Highlands of Scotland.
Accessible only by boat, Loch Shiel is one of Scotland's most
historically significant and unspoiled natural treasures.
Carved out by glaciers during the retreat of the last ice
age some 10,000 years ago, this 18 mile long freshwater loch
has changed relatively little since then and can truly be
called a Last Wilderness.
Now you can cruise the magnificent and historic scenery of
Loch Shiel in company with a friendly and knowledgeable local
crew, with live commentary on the History and Wildlife of
this beautiful region.
Sileas has a bar, and tea, light refreshments and coffee are
available. Meals and snacks are available ashore at each end
of Loch Shiel.
Sileas has Marine Safety Approval to carry 50 passengers,
with covered and open seating on deck and a Saloon below decks.
